Cookstown & District Chamber of Commerce

Our Chamber is powered by dedicated volunteers who believe in supporting local business and strengthening our community.

We are currently seeking to fill the following Board positions:

• President

• Vice President

• Treasurer

• Two (2) Directors

Board members play an important role in guiding the vision, governance, and strategic direction of the Chamber.

🔹 How Positions Are Determined

While nominees may indicate the position they are seeking, final Board roles will be determined following the election process. Once elected, the Board of Directors will meet and formally appoint Executive Officer positions (President, Vice President, and Treasurer) through an internal Board vote, in accordance with Chamber bylaws. Director roles will also be confirmed at that time.

🔹 Eligibility

• Nominee must be a member in good standing of the Cookstown & District Chamber of Commerce.

• Nominees must be willing to serve the full term as outlined in the Chamber bylaws.

• Nominees may self-nominate or be nominated by another member (with consent).
