The Cookstown Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1984 and has for years been dedicated to promoting the businesses in Cookstown and the surrounding area, as well as improving life in Cookstown in general. We invite you to venture our website to find out where to shop, eat or be entertained on your next visit. Our events page holds all the information from our annual Wing Ding to our Light Up Night. |

Volunteers Wanted!

Welcome From Our President
Dear Cookstown Chamber Members & Community,
It is an honour to be stepping into the role of President for the Cookstown & District Chamber of Commerce. I am excited to work alongside our new Board, serving our community and local businesses.
I joined the Chamber only a year ago, as a way to get involved and to promote my business, as a new resident of our town. Little did I know that I would soon dive in head-first and become part of the tight-knit community. My first project was hosting the Grand Easter Hunt and it exceeded expectations!
My family and I are from South Africa and made the move to Cookstown after a few years of living in the Beaches, Toronto. We love it here!
I am a Real Estate Salesperson, with Royal LePage Estate Realty and part of the Tobia Homes Team. Being part of the community is very important to me, as we all contribute to the success of the town we live in. Supporting local charities is also a matter close to my heart and I proudly support the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, as well as our local Troy Scott Community Fridge.
I am excited for the year ahead, working for and with our Members.
