The Cookstown & District Chamber of Commerce is a group of individuals, residents and businesses in the community who volunteer their time and efforts to bring our area fun events, advocate for our Village, as well as help our residents and businesses be successful. Lisa Whibley
Lavender Valley Farm Lisa Whibley is the co-owner of Lavender Valley Farm. A boutique Lavender Farm in the Nottawasaga Valley. Lisa brings 25+ years of finance and business experience, in addition to her Bookkeeping, strategy and financial background, Lisa has extensive entrepreneurship and business management experience as she was the Director of Finance and Operations for an award winning PR & Marketing agency in Toronto for over 6 years.Lisa has served on numerous Steering Committees, which provide management and oversight over certain key functions. She was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Lavender Association. She served as Director on the Board of Directors for Theatre by The Bay in Barrie for a 2 year term. Lisa's Lavender farm is her latest endeavor in which she and her husband began in 2022. TabCreates Connect@cookstownchamber.ca Tabitha manages social media and marketing communications. Tabitha’s true passion is in the local community. As an active member of the South Simcoe Arts Council, Beeton Fall Fair, and The Cookstown Chamber, she shares the commitment and need for arts and branding in the community with her local council members. In her time away from marketing and event planning, she is a commissioned artist. She has promoted her work through her website and multiple social platforms. With her marketing background she has worked with corporate and associations to bring art features into conferences, galas and trade events. |
